How to become a Volunteer
ENRYCH Berkshire Volunteers are people who have chosen to give willingly of their time to work with the charity to support people with a physical disability (ENRYCH Berkshire Members).
Volunteering can be such a rewarding experience. ENRYCH Berkshire currently works with many Volunteers across the County. Some Volunteers have been working with the organisation for years, whilst others are new and are beginning to realise just how wonderful it is to make a positive difference to someone’s life.
If you are new to the idea of volunteering it can often seem quite daunting, but don’t worry. We are not looking for superheroes or superstars. We are looking for everyday folk who might have a few free hours each week to share an interest with someone with a disability. That hobby you’ve had for years might be just the thing that one of our Members is looking for.
ENRYCH Berkshire asks that Volunteers be able to commit a few hours each week. These hours will be agreed between you and the ENRYCH Berkshire Member, meaning that the partnership can work at a time that suits you both. Asking Volunteers to commit for a period of time means that the Member has the opportunity to build their skills, knowledge and confidence, and can build a successful relationship with their Volunteer. Relationships are important, and are the cornerstone of success.

You never know – volunteering might actually add some unexpected colour to yours too.
